Definitions
The website http://www.GameMakerBlog.com is referred to as GameMaker Blog, Game Maker Blog or GMB.
The free Game Maker Affiliation Service provided by GameMakerBlog
may be referred to GMAS, Game Maker Affiliation, GMA or simply "the
service".
Your Banners
* Must be 88x31 pixels in size
* Maximum file size of 30KB
* Must be in one of the allowed file formats: .png, .jpg, .gif and animated .gif
* Your banners will need to be uploaded and hosted on our server, external hosting of images is not allowed.
* Must not be misleading
* Must be entirely your own work, or else you must have permission to use the banner from the image owner
* Must be suitable for a general audience.
* Must not cause offence to any other user of the service or third party.
Your website(s) or any linked pages of content
* Must not contain any content unsuitable for a general audience
* Must be safe to use and may not contain any forced downloads
* Must be related to the Game Maker software produced by YoYo Games Ltd (formerly Prof. Mark Overmars) or indie game creation/programming.
Code Placement
* A maximum of 1 (one) code may be placed per page
* A maximum of 10 banners may be served per code
* You may not excessively reload any pages containing your GMA code
* GMA codes may not be placed on pages which autorefresh
* You must not tamper with the code in any way
* You must not artificially inflate the number of clicks made on members banners via your site in any way.
* If the CTR from your site is less than a quarter of the average of all GMA users you
may be asked to move or modify your code placement, or may be removed from the service.
Your Membership
From time to time Game Maker Blog may send you e-mails to the e-mail
address you use to register with the GMA service to announce news about
GMA and/or Game Maker Blog. By registering and using the service you
agree to receive these e-mails.
GMA reserves the right to cancel your membership at any time and for
any reason. You may cancel your membership at any time by contacting
me.
Twitter oAuth
Our use of the Twitter API and Twitter's oAuth functionality complies with their API rules.
For details of how Twitter shares your information with third parties please view their terms.
The only pieces of data we fetch from Twitter are your current Twitter username and the ID of your twitter account. Your password is not visible to us.
We only request read access to your twitter account so cannot modify any of your data or use your account to send Tweets/@Replies or Direct Messages.
Third party developers using Twitter's oAuth are not able to log users out of their account - you will remain logged in as long as your current Twitter
session is active. Logging out of Twitter will result in you being logged out of your GMA account.
Data collection and retention
For each visitor to our Web page, our Web server automatically recognizes the consumer's domain name and e-mail address (where possible).
We collect the domain name and e-mail address (where possible) of visitors to our Web page, the e-mail addresses of those who
communicate with us via e-mail, aggregate information on what pages consumers access or visit, information volunteered by the
consumer, such as survey information and/or site registrations.
The information we collect is used to improve the content of our Web page, used to notify consumers about updates to our Web site.
With respect to cookies: We use cookies to record session information and record user-specific information on what pages users access
or visit, record past activity at a site in order to provide better service when visitors return to our site , ensure that visitors
are not repeatedly sent the same banner ads.
If you do not want to receive e-mail from us in the future, please let us know by or sending us an email.
From time to time, we make the e-mail addresses of those who access our site available to other reputable organizations whose products or
services we think you might find interesting. If you do not want us to share your e-mail address with other companies or organizations,

With respect to ads served through GMA: We collect information such as referring URL, users geographic location and time spent on site
through the Google Analytics program. This information is collected from within the iframe which you may place on your website as
part of your membership at GMA.
From time to time, we may use customer information for new, unanticipated uses not previously disclosed in our privacy notice.
If our information practices change at some time in the future we will post the policy changes to our Web site to notify you
of these changes and provide you with the ability to opt out of these new uses. If you are concerned about how your information
is used, you should check back at our Web site periodically.
Upon request we provide site visitors with access to a description of information that we maintain about them.
